Dr. Willsey is a Pacific NW native, having grown up in Redmond, Washington. She attended Washington State for her undergraduate studies where she started her riding career as a freshmen after joining the polo team. After graduating from Colorado State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022 she then completed an intensive equine medical and surgical internship at Bend Equine Medical Center. We welcomed her to the PCEVS team in August 2023 and are delighted to have her as part of our team!

In her spare time Dr. Willsey enjoys a variety of pursuits including reading, photography, baking, tabletop games, and exploring restaurants and breweries. Thoroughbreds are her favorite breed and while she does not currently have a horse of her own she does have a cat, Sammy, a dog named Nera and a fish tank.
