Dr. Posey graduated from Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and then worked at an equine practice on the east coast. She then moved back to Oregon to join Dr. Barb Crabbe in practice and has been here ever since!  Dr Posey has a special interest in alternative therapies, and is certified in veterinary acupuncture with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, is a certified Tui-Na practitioner and has completed training in Chinese herbs. In addition, she is an AERC (American Endurance Ride Conference) certified ride veterinarian. Dr. Posey grew up in a western saddle, and spent her youth actively involved in 4H and barrel racing.

She currently lives in Oregon City with her husband Ben, their two daughters, Tegan and Savannah, and their Golden Retrievers Bear and Doug.
